Personal Data Policy
Collecting your information
We gather the information below to operate your account and to comply with Canadian requirements covering age, identity checks and anti-money laundering:
- Identity and contact details: username, email address, your legal name as shown on ID, birth date and home address.
- Verification documents: government-issued photo ID, a document showing your address and, for certain withdrawals, evidence confirming that the payment method belongs to you.
- Financial records: deposits, withdrawals, payment methods used and balances.
- Play history: stakes, wins, bonuses, Lloydminster Rewards activity and limits set through Staying in Control.
- Technical data: IP address, geolocation check results, browser, device model and operating system.
- Messages: emails sent to our support team and our replies.
Keeping your information
We hold your records throughout the life of your account. Once it is closed, retention continues for the period required by Canadian tax, record-keeping and anti-money laundering rules.
Records linked to a complaint or investigation are held until the matter is settled and any legal retention period has passed. Self-exclusion records are kept so we can enforce the exclusion. When these periods expire, we delete or anonymize the data.
Using your rights
You can ask us to:
- provide a complete copy of the personal information held about you;
- amend personal details that have become incorrect or outdated;
- delete data that no legal obligation requires us to hold;
- stop using your data in marketing, or for any processing based on our legitimate interests.
Email your request to help@lloydminstercasino.app from the address on your account. We act on it after confirming your identity. If Canadian law obliges us to keep certain data, our reply will explain this.
Protecting minors
Lloydminster Casino opens accounts only for adults aged 19 or above, and deposits stay blocked until a player's age has been confirmed. Where it turns out that an account was opened by a minor, we close it, refund any deposits to the original payment method whenever possible and erase the personal data involved, retaining only what applicable legislation requires us to hold. Full details of these checks are set out on the Age Verification page.
Transferring data outside Canada
Certain partners that host our systems, verify identity or handle payments store or process data on servers in other countries. In each case, our contracts require protection comparable to Canadian standards.
Data stored abroad remains governed by the law of the country in which it is held, and that law may permit local authorities to access it.
Changing this policy
This Personal Data Policy is revised whenever our services, partners or legal duties change. The version on this page is always current and carries its date. Should an update be significant, you will receive an email or see a message at your next login.
Securing your data
Information sent from your device to our website is encrypted, and only staff whose job requires access can see personal data. Verification documents are kept in systems with restricted access, and we test our security controls on a regular basis.
We never ask for your password by email. Choosing a strong password and signing out on devices used by others helps protect your account.
Relying on legal grounds
Each way we use your data is based on one of these grounds:
- Contract: opening and running your account, settling stakes and paying withdrawals.
- Legal obligation: age, identity, location and anti-money laundering checks.
- Legitimate interests: stopping fraud, protecting the security of the site and making our games and services better.
- Consent: marketing messages and optional cookies; you can withdraw your consent whenever you wish.
Sharing with trusted partners
Data is shared only when necessary, with:
- Payment providers: the services behind our cashier, such as Interac, card networks, PayPal, Trustly, iDebit, Instadebit and Paysafecard.
- Verification providers: firms that confirm identity, age and location and evaluate the risk of fraud.
- Service providers: game suppliers, hosting, email delivery and analytics partners.
- Authorities: law enforcement or government bodies where Canadian law requires disclosure.
We never sell personal data.
Choosing your marketing
Offers are sent solely to members who opted in. Your choices can be changed from account settings, by email to us, or with the unsubscribe option in any marketing email we send.
