Age Verification
Accepting players aged 19 and over only
A Lloydminster Casino account can be held only by someone aged 19 or older. The rule covers the whole site: Lobby slots, Live Casino tables, Jackpots, Promotions and Lloydminster Rewards. It also covers the free daily prize game, which you can play without depositing, though you still need a verified adult account.
Lloydminster Casino accepts players only in jurisdictions where online gambling is legal and complies with Canadian requirements for age verification, identity checks and the prevention of money laundering. Under our General Terms, opening or trying to open an account while under 19 is a breach, as is allowing someone younger to play through your account.
Using parental controls and filtering tools
Parents and guardians have effective tools for keeping gambling sites away from children. We recommend combining several of them:
- the parental controls built into Windows, macOS, iOS and Android, which can block websites and restrict app downloads
- filtering software that blocks gambling categories in every browser on a device
- filtering on your router or home network, which applies to all devices on your Wi-Fi
- safe search settings in browsers and search engines
- app store settings that require a parent's approval before any download or purchase
Protect these tools with a separate password your child does not know. Check that they are still active after each software update.
Acting when a minor is found
Any account we suspect is in the hands of someone younger than 19 is suspended at once, and we request evidence of age. If the holder proves to be under 19, or cannot demonstrate otherwise, the account is permanently closed.
When an account is closed for this reason:
- all winnings are void and removed
- bonuses, spins and Golden Chips are cancelled
- deposits are refunded through a verified withdrawal method once ownership of the funds is established
- their details stay on record so future registration attempts can be blocked
Should an adult account holder let a minor play, we close the account under our General Terms. When legally required, we pass information to the authorities.
Protecting minors on shared devices
A shared family laptop or tablet may let a child reach a logged-in casino account unnoticed. The following habits help prevent that:
- sign out completely when each session ends rather than only closing the tab
- never let your browser save your Lloydminster Casino password
- lock devices with a screen lock that requires a PIN, fingerprint or facial recognition
- give children their own user profiles on any shared computer
- keep bank cards and e-wallet passwords out of children's reach
Our About Cookies page shows you how to remove saved login cookies from your browser. The Staying in Control page covers the limits and pauses you can set on your own account.
Checking every player's age
We check age at several points. Because the registration form asks for a date of birth, anyone under 19 is stopped from creating an account. Independent electronic sources confirm your identity and age before we process a first deposit, and geolocation establishes your location. If the electronic check cannot be completed, we will request an official photo document issued by a government, as our Anti-Money Laundering Policy page explains.
Every payment method you use must carry the same name as your account. Any mismatch leads to further checks, since a parent's card or e-wallet is a common sign of underage play. Age checks may be repeated at any point, for example before a withdrawal.
Our team assesses every document by hand where the automated check cannot reach a clear result. We also treat an account as unverified until we confirm its age.
